I am back! This past weekend was my big trip to Northeast Championship in Philly for the big tournament. I had a fun time meeting a lot of people who I have played SF4 with online but never had a chance to meet in person.

The venue was great and so were the rooms which were equipped with 2 big LCD TV’s for some SF4 action to be played on. After initially being excited about the tournament I actually found myself having more fun just hanging out with people and playing casual matches in my room.

The tournament room was packed and you had to wait hours in between matches so that kind of detered me from being excited about it. On the other hand, Console Warzone managed to have our own tournament right in our hotel room! I would like to thank all 14 people who showed up and played in the event and big shoutout to Slob Murph for winning the whole thing.

With the East coast major now behind us it is time for me to move on to throwing my next event which looks like will be in 2010! You will not have to wait long for info so stay tuned!

What do you do when you beat a YouTube Street Fighter 4 giant? Make a music video showing you beating him of course!

GeoM ModInside recently beat YouTube SFIV player King Kindred in a first to 10 set by the score of 10-9. GeoM who plays from Colombia and King Kindred who plays from Detroit both had a 2-bar connection on Xbox Live during their set.

Both players agreed to play and not blame the connection as to why either of them lost, but after King Kindred posted a YouTube video commenting on the connection GeoM had to respond in this music video.

So I booked my room for myself and some friends to make the trip down to Northeast Championship in Philadelphia, PA on Dec. 5th and 6th!

The room is super nice and has 2 LCD TV’s in it for some Street Fighter action when the tournament is not going on. I am going to be capturing video, hopefully of some good stuff and uploading it here when I get back from my trip.

I will also be bringing my streaming device with me so if by chance I can get some people together for some money matches in my room, I will do a live stream on Justin.TV.

The tournament is going to be huge for the East Coast as right now there are 200 players signed up for SFIV alone. If you have never been to a tournament this would be a good way to start.

Anyone attending hit me up to get some games in!
